All,
I currently work for a UK Avaya Business Partner (BP) who sell to mutiple end user companies, our distrubution channel is via Westcon.
I continue to have issues with new orders/upgrades on RFA and PLDS and need to document the process of:
1. How end user companies are registered on avaya - i.e. company 777xxxx iD's for multiple site companies and group ID (FL) numbers ...the ability or restrictions to moving entitlements.
2. How access to records is administered at Avaya to allow the BP to search / ammend records.
3.The process to transfer RFA /PLDS records/licenses from one BP to another.
Can someone point me in the right direction for some training notes / admin manual for the correct procedures as we continously have issues with incorrect or missing informationnon PLDS
My understanding is
1. A single stand alone customer (one office) is registered on PLDS with a new Group ID (FL Number 502xxxxx) all SAP orders are placed against this site ...they BP engineers can access the SAP order and activate the entitlements on the FL numbers.
2. A large Multi site company has one single virtualised system (but multiple Media Gateways/LSP's accross several locations, Paris, Rome, London etc....), This customer should have one Group ID (FL number) for the Main HQ or Data Centre site and all SAP orders and entitlements placed against this Site.
3. If we register a large company with multiple stand alone Avaya Aura platforms 'The Company' is assigned a top level Company ID 777xxxxxxx. Each site is then given a Group ID (FL number) and SAP orders for each site is then placed against the relevent FL
4. Often the Group ID (FL Number) has the name or address and we need to change it - is this only done by raising an Avaya ITSS ticker to change or can BP's do it via PLDS
Many Thanks
