Hi All,

I a virtual server version 11.1 with 2 expansion units.
I have moved the licenses from the plds host id to weblm client host id.
When I choose remote server and choose license source weblm, I see that all the license become absolute, but if you switch to local they are valid.
What could be causing this?

I did the install of the license and I see the license in WEBLM.
I have pointed that the 2 expansion units should get the license from the primary, but I did not see them get any license and they are also in weblm.
Did I miss something?

What licenses are the expansions not getting? Some licenses will auto allocate (IP endpoints) and some you have to allocate yourself (SIP trunk channels).

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

Hi critchey,

The expansions are not getting te following license from that are in the virtual server.
Both expansion don't get the server edition license.
As there is 1 license for the virtual server and 2 for the expansion units.
And also one of the expansion units have E1 also and not getting the license

The Server Edition license should auto allocate. I know in the past if the expansions have any kind of configuration issue related to licenses it woulnd't load the license. For instance once customer had the receptionist checkbox ticked for a couple users but had no receptionist license and the expansion would not take the license from WebLM. Removing the users receptionist checkbox let the expansion grab the license.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

I will check it out in the users or anything else for the expansion unit, as I have not configured any users in the system.
Only the incoming route.

I checked all user and receptionist checkbox is not selected

In the SSA of the primary server I see TLS certificate has expired and failed to load Hold music

In one expansion unit I see TLS certificate has expired, insufficient license for this configuration: License type Server edition 10
License configuration error: There are insufficient license for the current configuration

Also one of the expansion units has a PRI card: which also says insufficient license for this configuration
TLS certificate has expired, insufficient license for this configuration: License type Server edition 10
License configuration error: There are insufficient license for the current configuration

Quick update,

I managed to get the license to work on the expansion unit with the PRI ( it show license server edition and pri license), but no success with the other expansion unit.
I have removed the expansion and add it back but no success.

One thing I have seen is when I choose the location of the secondary unit it tells me line location mus be set to system location of the the system line links
