PLDS License Activation Error

Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to generate some licence for IPO R10, I have my License Activation Code (LAC) and got the host ID in Manager from a Backup in the License Field, I log in to plds.avaya.com and click on activate, everything seems ok, but when I enter the host id whith dashes and click next I get the following error,

AVA-0102 -Error: The Host ID XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX is already being used by another License Host. Please provide a unique Host ID. If your Host ID is a virtual MAC address, you will need to change the virtual MAC address of the WebLM Host and use it for this activation

I'm kind of confused, do I need to generate a new one or use the mac address of the IP Office,

Sounds like you already have created a Host in PLDS with that ID.
When you enter the LAC and click activate it should show the Hosts belonging to the same customer, does one of those have the ID you're trying to use?

If you already generated licenses with the LAC before you don't need to Activate them again, just choose Regenerate License/Key.
You can also choose View Activation Record to see where the licenses are assigned.

Does this system already have licenses or is it a new one?
You should be able to add licenses but sometimes this goes wrong and you should raise a ticket.

you don't need to populate the host id, it will, do it itself when you click on activate
