playing MPEG-1 live with MPEG2Demultiplexer

Hi,
i have one question, is it possible to play live stream MPEG-1 Audio with MPEG2Demultiplexer in the sdk or does it only support MPEG2?
By the way is there another possibility to play MPEG-1 live streams with direct show? I wrote a push filter and connected it with the Demultiplexer but it haven´t worked so far.
