Dear Sir/Mdm ,

I will like to play a midi file in my flash animation.
However, I am not sure whether it is technically feasible or not. Please enlighten me. Thanks !

Don't think you can import .mid files in Flash yet, only .wav or Mp3. My understanding is that midi files don't hold any sound notes anyways; you need to go through a synthetizer to recreate the music. Assuming you're using Windows on a PC, you can download a midi to wave converter here: Look for a file called ac33.zip

On the other hand, your question made me realize that I could play a midi file with the Windows MediaPlayer while recording as a .wav using the Windows recorder. That would be another way of converting your midi files as waves, to import them in Flash.
