Playing flash movies within Director smoothly in lesser RAM

I have developed a presentation in Director8.0, where I have used many Flash 4. 0 movies. The movies are small. All the files are kept in an external cast . The size of the .exe file is 3.99 mb. The size of the external cast is 33.0 mb.The machine I work in has P-III , 20 gb HDD, and 512 RAM. The total presentation plays smoothly here. But when I'm playing it from a cd, it is playing a bit slowly. Again, when I,m playing it in a 256 RAM machine, it is becoming unbelievably slow. How can I retain the speed in a machine with lower configuration, atleast to some extent?
