Using the EMBED tag in Netscape Communicator 4.08 and IE5, the browser wants to cache the video file first (takes forever when playing a 350mb video off CD!).
Does anyone know any additional parameters to include in the EMBED tag to disable caching and play directly off CD??
Hmmm....in Netscape, go into your options and look for you caching setting....if you look through your options hard enough (might check your QuickTime options too) you'll most likely find a setting that sets how many seconds are cached before it will start playing.
-Robherc
robherc@netzero.net

*nix installation & program collector/reseller.
