Hi

I have made a very simple flash movie of lots of bubbles rising from the bottom of the screen to the top, which is only 15k in size.

However, when viewing the published swf file it does not play smoothly. Instead it stutters slowly.

The movie is only 30 frames long and the frame rate is 32 which means the bubbles should rise to the top of the screen in approx 1 second. Instead it takes about 3.

What could i have done to slow the animation down so much?

Thanks

Elliot

actually they aren't action scripted. Just grouped shapes that are animated.

here is a link...

Notice that the first part of the animation (the word rising up the page) is smooth. It is only when the bubbles enter that it slows down and stutters.

Thanks

Elliot

If you don't have a good quality video card, that' what you see. I noticed that you have a lot of those bubbles and probably alpha'ed it.

To reduce stress on the card, just remove the alpha and join what you can together. That way you have less images.
