play only selected scenes

I have some buttons that play selected frames but how do I make it play like frame 55 without out playing lets say scene 5 and 6

Please help

What you are saying is unclear. What code are you using now?

At the moment I use goto and play scene 3, 1 or like that any way.

But what I have is 6 buttons on the homepage when any one of them is click it runs the movie, moves some stuff on the page and brings up what they asked for.

My problem is without doing a bunch of repeted actions every button they click on will move the same stuff on the screen but end up with a different box of text in the middle.

There may be a better way to do this ?

So do you have a different movie clip containing the new information that will show up???

Because you can put each new piece of information into a clip and then call it up with each button.
