I want an IPO 500v2 V.9.0.300.941 using VMPro to play a prerecorded message that says "calls are randomly recorded for quality control purposes" when the call is placed on hold or parked.
Is it possible?
If yes can you point me to some documentation?

I'm not sure where you are located but I believe that legally you need to play that message when the call is answered. That gives the caller an option to hang up if they don't want their call recorded or monitored, or at least they know up front that you're doing it. You could have all calls answered by a short Auto Attd. greeting that says. Thank you for calling ABC Company, your call may be recorded for quality or training purposes. Please stay on the line for assistance. The call can then transfer to the appropriate destination using a timeout option in a menu. Let's say the call is never put on hold or parked and you are doing call recording, there could be a legal issue if you ever used the recording.

California. The client prides themselves on answering all call live 24\7. Even a short AA would mask that differentiator to the point that it would not truly be answered live. Any other suggestions?

Well why don't you record that message..then you use it as your hold message message for the hunt group you are using to direct calls to
