Play a greeting then transfer 1

Hello everyone! I am trying to figure out the best way to implement a clients request,


The client has an IPO 500 V2 8.0 with embedded voicemail.

The client want the following:

When someone calls a certain number that call is picked up and played a greeting, saying they are a new company etc, etc. then tranfer to a huntgroup (during the day) at night instead of a hunt group to an external number.

Now I know how to setup the time profiles and transfer to an external number, but what I am wondering if using an AA to play the greeting then the AA rolls to a hunt group is the best option.

Any thoughts?

On ICR route to the AA without any transfer options, record a message and in ICR set the Fallback destionation to the group.

Thanks Intrigrant!! I did exactly as you stated just before your answer and it works great. I am now trying to convert the WAV file to a good sounding c11 file. It's playing but really bad. If I record it using the phone it sounds great. I do understand the wav file requirements, and using the LVM Greeting Utility, but it not behaving!!


I just have to work with this some more!!
