Platinum for Dos 4.6 and Windows 2000 Pro

We've been using Platinum for DOS for over 2 years on Windows NT 4.0 workstations and server. Recently we upgraded the workstations to Windows 2000 Professional. Since then, even with new computers and greatly increased RAM, the overall performance of the workstations has really slowed down. Also, by the end of the day, the workstations frequently are so low on memory and resources they completely lock up.

I'm wondering if the settings in config.nt are the same for Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000 Pro, or if that is causing our problems.

Any insight?
