Dear all,
we are into the implementation of Cognos-Planning (yes, not TM1). The model has been created and works.
But there's one (for our government) great problem. The regime needs to see the commentaries (database: MS Access).
To crate a column "commentaries" is not the problem. But the visualization makes the difficulties. As the comments are written in German, there are any special characters with mutated vowels like "ä, ü, ö". Reading this symbols, Planning give back any not readable characters.
The second commentary-problem is that Planning does not give the right structure typing in the database field. If there are any breaking tabs in the commentary, Planning does not manage the correct reproduction.
Because the commentaries are strongly recommended, this problems may cause a failure of the Cognos-Planning project in our company, if there could not deliver any solutions?.
Right now, our consultants are not able to give us satisfactory answers.
Could anyone please help me??!!
Thank you in advance!!
Kind regards
