Working in Vantage 8.03.405A, we want to schedule new production orders in time automatically.
For example, we have a part with a mininum stock of 30 pcs which will be reached by March 31. We have put Lead Time in Plants tab on 20 days.
We need Epicor to make a suggestion for a new production order to be ready over 20 days.
So that implies Epicor will schedule the production order based on the lead time of 20 days, so 20 days starting from today.
Now Vantage can create a new production order when the min stock has been reached (which can be undesirable when you want to use that stock as a safety stock during the production of the new series) or Vantage can create a new production order starting today but will only suggest a new date based on the productive hours only the production order needs. So for example if that it 24 hours the due date will be in 3 working days.

Does anybody know how we can schedule based on the lead time of the part?

Thanks
Andre
