Hi Gang,
I'm working with a customer who has around 50 mobile users. Currently when in the office, a user must provide a WEP security key in order to access the network or internet. Because of the number of people in and out of the office the WEP key rarely changes which is probably bad practice.

I would like to centralize the security and configure wireless connectivity through user name/password much like how someone logs onto their workstation. I think this is where IAS comes into the picture. From what I understand IAS integrates with Active Directory to authenticate wireless users.

Is this in fact a function of IAS? Also I've been reading on ways to implement IAS, but cannot find anything that has been authored by someone other than Microsoft.

Would someone post a few links that might enlighten me as to how IAS is installed and configured? We're using Small Business Server 2003 and a Linksys Wireless Access Point and Router.

If the access points support RADIUS, then, yes, IAS is the answer. You can configure them in IAS so that users are granted access based on their AD account.
