We had a power outage last week and it was down for about 6-7 hours. My boss wants to find out what it would take to keep the entire phone system up for at least a few hours using a generator. Where can I find out how much power the entire phone systems need? I have an S8500 Media Gateway, an Intuity Audix, and 5 cabinets with all of the cards. I think I came across a website that gives me info for the switch and Audix, but I still don't know about the cabinets.

Thanks!!

Use the selector guide at the top of this page. It should give you everything you need. You will need a UPS to hold it over during the switch from normal power to generator power. It will give you that too. w

If you still cant find all the power needs let us know. Also the cabinets are SCC or MCC?

When is the last time you helped someone, just because you were able to?

Locate the Hardware Description and Reference Manual (555-245-207) and check in the Site Requirements section.
