Due to some people not possesssing rich text formatting with their email - I need some way to send plaintext - but format it - so I can avoid an URL being broken - which stops it working.

\n does not seem to work when i try using it in outlook.

urls longer than about 250 characters break in outlook, its even less charcters in older version and Outlook express

This is just a wierd idea, but might be worth a shot, have you tried concatenating in an enter? ie concatenating in an ascii conversion of the crlf?

Well, how do people like macromedia do it - they seem to have nice paragraphs

Actually - using ascii might be the way to do it - what is the code for newline - yes enter?

My Apologies guys - \n does work when I actually send the mail - phew.
