Hi Everyone,

I know it is not pretty good to cut and past text from word document to PM. I prefere placing, but I have tried to save the text in RTF by the use of special pasting function in word. After the process, I tried to place the text, but it is rejecting the selection of RTF from the icon box selection.

Is there any better way of converting a text save *.doc to RTF that PM could easily accept?

Thanks
victor76. Oliver

Hi John,
Thanks for your ever readiness to help on this forum.

I have tried to save the file as *.rtf with the method I know, but whenever I try choose the rtf from the icon dialog box. it dose not respond, i.e it does not place the text on the page.

John I will appreciate it, if you could describe the way you save files as rtf.

Hi, victor76,

To dave a file in *.RTF format in Microsoft Word, click File -> Save As….

Scroll down "save as type" to Rich Text Foramt (*.RTF) and click "Save". Word will do the the biz.

To import the file into PM, click File -> Place and browse to the folder where the *.RTF file is located.
Select the file.
I usually check "Show filter preferences" at this stage.
Click "Open", and choose the filter prferences. Click OK.
You may recieve a warning about any graphics in the file, as they will not be imported. Click OK and place the text on the PM page.

Iechyd da! John
