When I place an jpg picture into a pagemaker document it looks realy pixely even thought the resolution of the original picture was high (300dpi). And it gets worse when I make the picture smaller. The pagemaker document resolution is 300 dpi. Where is the problem? Thanks Jana

PM's screen view is not the best, but you can redraw page in high resolution with Ctrl+Shift+F12.
See Windows Shortcuts -> Viewing a Publication in Helpfiles.

You can also set the screen view in High Resolution via File -> Preferences -> General.

If you are printing locally on a LaserJet or Inkjet, you'll probably find 150dpi is fine.

And don't forget in the Options part of the Print Menu, set your Images to print to 'normal' not the default 'optimised subsampling' (although I'm not sure if this affects the printing of JPGs).
