I'm a newbie to pagemaker, attempting to place a logo from photoshop ( as a tiff) into a flyer. How do I remove the background colour, so that only the logo floats on the page.
Any help appreciated. Cheers Yan michael

Hi.

Use clipping path in Photoshop. You have several ways to create clipping path. For example use magic wand to select all but backgroud, convert selection to path, name the path, use that named path as clipping path, save as .EPS
or TIF (Photoshop v.6), and voila.

Thanks Polda, all is now well. You're advice helped me to sort out the problem and also introduced me to Photoshop 6,
which in fact has a transparency wizard ( I should have delved deeper ).
Cheers again Yan Michael
