Hallo,
trying to paste a Sanskrit text written in Itranslator 2003 (Unicode) ( into Adobe InDesign CS 2 (German version) I encountered the following problem: First the Unicode-Font Sanskrit 2003 was replaced by TNR and after changing the font to Sanskrit 2003 it does not show the ligatures correctly, but replaces them by Viramas (094D). MS Word however has no problems with Devanagari Script at all. Are there any special settings to make which I overlooked? But it might be more likely that ID CS2 (German or English version) does not support Indian scripts with complex ligatures and I have to buy the Middle Eastern version. Or could it be that Indian scripts are not supported by Adobe? But I can't believe it.
Best regards and thanks,
Andreas
