Placing Details side by side

Hi,
I need to print out ID cards on a report. There must be 12 per page. Is it possible to get my details to appear side by side so the cards will appear in this format?
1 2
3 4
5 6
7 8
9 10
11 12
Would a label type report work? I have images on each card as well.

3 8
4 9
5 10
