placement of bitmaps 1

My stage is 362x331. I imported a bitmap sequence directly onto the timeline. However, it places the bitmaps off-center. It actually hangs off the stage. How do I place the bitmaps center-stage without having to do it one by one. As you can tell, I don't work in Flash too much.

This is a little trickyer in Flash 5...

Right-click the first frame on the timeline and hit "Select All".
Next select the "Edit Multiple frames" icon just below the timeline, and in the next icon to the right, select Onion all. You might want to double check again if the Onion all is in fact selected...

Then in theory you should be able to either drag the whole series of pictures by dragging the first one into a new position. You can also use the arrow keys (or Shift->arrow keys - moves by 10 pixels) to position all the pictures.

If only one or a few but not all pictures do move, then Undo that last move, and re-check that the whole serie of pictures is highlited, that Onion all is set, and try again.
