I am trying to automate via macro to copy a picture object on top of another picture object in an excel spreadsheet. I have searched and search and can not determine how to specific the current cursor location.

I basically have pasted a picture of a floor plan in my spreadsheet and now want to past objects on top of that such as chairs. Rather than clicking copy, paste on the object and then moving it to the location on the picture it would be a whole lot quicker if I place my cursor where I want it and ran a macro or create a right click and on for the mouse.

Anybody know how to do this? Sure would appreciate the help!

Hi,

Macro questions are better addressed in Forum707.

You need to use the TOP and LEFT properties of the shape object, and make them equal to the respective properties of the existing shape.
