Hi,
I'm trying to create a gif animation using 40 png background transparent images.
So I'm using one image as a "parent" to hold the other images.
The problem is, I want them to be placed at a fixed position.
But whenever I dragged them in, the position is not correct.

What I'm doing now is drawing a border and using that to determine a fixed position. It works, but it's taking up too much time. Any faster way?
Thanks for any help.

Hi there.

To move an image to an exact spot do the following:

- click on the layer
- Ctrl + T (Free Transform)
- then you must have the options window open
- the you will see a little box 3 dots by 3 dots (click on the top left one)
- then you will see X and Y coordinate boxes next to that (simply enter in the postiion)
- Click the checkmark on the far right of the options window

Another thing you could do is record all those steps I mentioned as an action and set a key command then when you drag a layer in simple do the key command and it will move the image over for you.

Hope this helps!

NATE
