Hi all,

we want to sign our inhouse macros with an own signature generated by Windows 2003 PKI Module. The aim is to prevent all user in the domain from asking wheter the macro is secure. And on a further step, if we deliver some Excel-Files to our customer, they should be able to trust our company-signature. But the signature is still not verisign-checked or from any other global trust center.

My problem: After installing the PKI Module on Domain Controller Windows 2003 Standard Edition as an Active Directory integrated version, we can not create an company certificate, which can be used to sign all our makros.

Version 2 certificates seems not to be installable on Windows 2003 Standard Server Edition.

Then we used one of our Windows 2000 Server as certificate instanze. But here we have the problem, that only user-dependent signature can be installed. Is there a way to generate an company-wide certificate, which can be used by all clients and users in the domain to sign there macros???

Thanks very much for your help,
Holger Geist
