Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I am looking at upgrading my current system to add:
a)When an incoming call comes in it will answer tell them we will be with them shortly
b)Possibly call recording
c)Voicemail

I currently own a pizza place that has 3 incoming lines which run 3 KX-T7433 phones. I have a cordless phone attached to the phone jack off one of the KX-T7433.

I have been recently quoted on the required equipment as follows:

KXNS700 Panasonic KXNS700 Basic Controller Unit with 2 Digitalports and 4 Analog ports Caller ID
KXNS5171 8 Port Digital Extension Card
KXNSU002 Two Way Recording Control Activation Key
KXNSU102 2 Channels/Ports of Voicemail
KXNS7134 40 Hours Voicemail Storage
KXNSU003 Message Back-up Activation Key 1
KXNSF201 Call Centre Enhancement Key. Allows the use of queuing
information announcement, ICD group monitoring by ACD
supervisor, and creation of ACD reports
KXA247 Wall Mount Kit for NCP500/NS1000/NS700 1
KXNS5110 VOIP DSP-S Card 1

Im not sure if this system is overkill. Does the base KXNS700 have any basic auto attendant? Is the KXNS7134 just an SD Card or is their more to it? Thanks Again

Your business may just need a Panasonic KX-HTS32.
The KX-NS series may not be appropriate if all you have are 3 trunk (analog lines).

The HTS has the features you need and is cheaper (Take NOTE of you feature expansion plans) if you are considering it.
It does not require licensing too. Supports multiple vendors SIP IP Phones including Cisco SPA500 series and Grandstream GXP series SIP Phones

Depends on what you want
I personally wouldn’t class the two way recording on the mailbox as a great way of doing it as the amount of space it would use up in a busy system recording all calls also to retrieve the exsact call would not be straight forward

As a basic recording it would do.

The call centre function with 3 lines is a waste as if you have 3 phones on the systen ringing the you are no x in line wont kick in and the reporting is basic if you ecven want it

There is an disa system built in that would so but i would put in the dsp so all 3 lines can be answered at the same time. Without it only 2 lines can be Answered simultaneous but as soon as it is not playing a message it will answer the third one

If you wanted you can add these options later if the basic would not do what you want

This is mine opinion not a recommendation as I dont have the full briefing on the spec requirements
