Please help me!! (Maybe Oldnewbie?) I am trying Premier for the first time for a college project and am making a film with lots of short clips taken from driving on the motorway. Using a G4, P5.1, 128Mb and it is behaving well so far. Basically, I am making lots of short sequences of about 25 seconds which involves 3/4 shorter clips, filters and transitions. Using 29.7 fps, and am exporting the clips to Quick Time movies. The original footage I have got is fine as premier clips, but when I start adding transitions etc, the rendered version goes really pixelated and loses quality. I have no idea about 'compression', 'codec' or frame rates etc (whatever I've been reading about in this forum)- I literally play around then go to "export to Quick Time"- Please tell me a better way of rendering my clips to avoid pixelation/ get higher quality? I dont even know if QT is the best file!!
I eventually want to render all my little clips together into one longer film to play off my harddrive for a college presentation- Any help would be much appreciated, we have to do it by this Thurs!
