Hi,

I recently bought a cisco pix 506 and upgraded to PIX software 6.3.5 and the PDM version to 3.04 (see show version). The strange thing is I just cannot get the PDM working. As soon as I start a webbrowser https session from a host in the 192.168.1.0 lan to the pix 192.168.1.1 I just receive the message from the browser "Internet Explorer cannot browse the webpage", also other browser gave me the same error. I can ping the pix from the hosts in the 192.168.1.0 lan segment. Not even the message regarding the security certificates is showing up.....Using a portscan tool to scan the pix I can see 433 is open.

Please help.....!!!!!

Hi, thanks for the quick reply.

I did add this line to the config but the problems is still the same, so no luck at all....

Hi again,

Yes Java6 update 20 is installed on the machine. Tested with Windows 7 and Windows Xp machine.

Did also some debugging on the console when starting the https sessions to start PDM from the pc with ip 192.168.1.30

710001: TCP access requested from 192.168.1.30/49293 to inside:192.168.1.253/https

So it seems that access is granted, but still no PDM webpage is being displayed. I also tried re-flashing the pdm.

Is there some way to see if PDM is correctly running????

The clearify the problem:

The PDM JAVA plugin does not even initialize when i request it using the
Is seems likethe PDM application is not even listening to the request
