I've run through the pix506 vpn wizard for pptp using the username and password database built in the pix.
if im on the ip address 88.88.88.99(example) and the pix outside interface is 88.88.88.100, then i can connect to the pix with NO PROBLEM and access all resources on the network.
Now if i try to access the pix from a different public ip address range such as 218.99.99.100 then it wont connect, until i list 218.99.99.100 in the pix as an outside host and then create a static route to 88.88.88.100(pix outside interface).. even though i can connect now, i cant access any resources on the network.
MY problem is this: I can only connect to the pix via VPN when the client computer is on the same public subnet(T-1 line,) when i try to connect to the pix on a different public ip address i cant get to any resources.
