Hello all!! I'm very new to PIX. I've troubleshooted a few issues in the past but never got involved in configurations. Long story short, I went from net admin to net engineer.
I'm trying to have some remote servers authenticate with an active directory server inside the PIX. I found this article. . My concern is when I set up the vpn pool, will this affect anything else connecting through the PIX? How could I ensure that only the desired traffic will use this vpn pool? The remote severs already use the PIX to transmit data back to some linux boxes on the inside. Basically, I just want the remote servers to use the vpn pool for authentication purposes only.
Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
