Are you talking about syslog ? in that case you need a syslog server installed on some machine and then enable logging to that address. Where the file is will be dependant on the setup of your syslog server.
You can also save a small amount of log in memory of the pix, not alot though.
cmds :
logging host inside x.x.x.x
logging timestamp
logging trap <level>
logging on
remember ntp or setting the time in order to use the log properly.
