Hi !

are there any issue regarding connecting PIX to a non cisco router to outside interface.

I have configured PIX 515 connected outside to broadband router and the router is connected via ADLS connection to ISP.

Then I put a DMZ web server on PIX port and applied appropriate permission unfortunately it does not work.

When I pull out the PIX and setup to another network but this time the outside interface is connected to a Cisco router and the router is connected to an ISP.

Put the web server on DMZ and applied appropriate permission and the configuration works fine.

Have you encounter this kind of situation or issue regarding connecting PIX 515 to a non Cisco Broadband router ?

any comment will be highy appreciated.

HI.

This seems more like a routing issue with the ADSL ISP, and not an issue specific to the router model.

You will probably need to troubleshoot this with the ISP.

If you need more help, you should provide more details, specific to the network that does not work, error description, syslog messages, ping test results, network configuration and ip addressing, etc...

Bye
