PIX firewalls and code red

Hi,
Does anyone know if you can use a PIX firewall to block code red scans - with content filtering using the .ida string. I know this can be done on Cisco routers using IOS firewall, but seems a little strange if it cant be done on PIX systems.

What's the matter with having the router running NBAR and blocking Code Red? Most likely your router is in front of the PIX so I would prefer to have it stop at the router level and not even let the PIX see it. Just my opinion.
