Hi guys

We have a few clients who have Cisco PIX firewalls (501, 506 & 515) and they have a requirement for SSL VPNs - they wish to connect to the office data remotely using a browser and HTTPS.

Is this possible to do with the PIX? and if not, whats the best and easiest solution?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers!

If you upgrade the PIX 515 to 7x code, then you can do it, but the 6x code does not support it. The 501 and 506 do not support 7x code but their replacement the ASA5505 will.
You will have to buy the SSL-VPN license pack for the number of concurrent users.

The easiest solution is to set up the inside server to perform this function and forward port 443 to it.
