I have a Pix 535 and I have a question about performance. I'm running a little over 3000 concurrent connections, around 170 connections per second, and just under 90Mb/s - and my CPU is hitting over 95% sustained.
The traffic I'm pushing seems nowhere near what Cisco says the max specs are, so I'm curious what's nailing my CPU. I'm running some flavor of 8 (I can get the exact version if that's important) I'm pretty inexperienced with the Pix so any suggestions would be appreciated.
