PIX-515 ro PIX-501 VPN Tunnel

Hey guys,

I am going to be building a tunnel between a site up in Massachusetts and my site in Dallas here this weekend.

The only thing is that the user that has the 501 up in Boston is on Cable and gets a DHCP IP. I know it is possible to do it with DHCP but can anyone think of any gotchas I should look out for before I go trying it ?

HI.

What are the OS versions involved?
If the pix 501 in Boston has version 6.2x, you can configure it using "Easy VPN" instead of the "site to site" VPN. This requires different VPN configuration at the main site as well.
