I have a PIX-515 with 6 FE ports.
About every 12 to 13 hours the PIX seems to disappear, you can physically console to it but there is no traffic through the PIX.
There are no errors logged in the PIX and the switch ports that they plug into are not flapping. The fault can last for between 5sec to 5 min’s and can happen up to 6 times in a row. Then the PIX just works as if everything is OK. There have been times when it works OK for up to 2.5 days without any issue. When the fault is happening there isn’t a lot of traffic flowing through the device.
It is running 6.3.3, only using 3 zones, there are 2 tunnels to 2 other PIX devices.
Can someone please advise how you can help us out?
