HAve a PIX 506e running 6.3(4), have recently changed service provider and it seems now unable to get any external IP addresses through to the firewall. Only change to the PIX are, the obvious change of IP range provided with new ISP. The outside router (netgear) sees the inside IP addresses hitting it , so we know the PIX is advertising these addresses. HAve set up a rule on the Netgear router, just in case, the ALLOW ALL under the Firewall side of the NetGear router.
Obviously this is quite an open question. The IP address of the PIX itself is available remotely and is use for VPN access. BUt when we apply another device inside the the firewall, no access from outside to inside is available even though rules have been setup to allow this. i.e to allow access to an exchange server, an access-list and static route has been added allow SMTP, HTTPS access. Or even simplier, add a camera to inside , setup an access list and static route. Can access camera internally, go to a dial up connection and try to connect to camera, nothing.
