Hi all.
My PIX 506e casually (but often) stop to respond on inside interface, all inside hosts don't go outside.
In this situation Outside interface works correctly and respond to ping.
When this happen only is possible to turn off and on the PIX. Any idea? What can I do to solve this??

Tks all.

Have you tried to issues a "clear xlate" to determine if it solves the issue? When this happens are you able to telnet/ping the inside interface?

One last thing... when the problem reappears, try to access the console port and issue the "show xlate debug" command. Try to determine if there are xlates with longer time than the setting configured for "timeout xlate <value>".
This command only works on 6.2 or higher.

Thanks for answer.

This morning the problem occours while one Mobile VPN Client try to connect, in detail: VPN Client is connect but inside hosts don't respond.
I analize the situation:
Outside interface work.
Inside interface is not "pingable".
If I connect by Console Cable and issue "show xlate debug" the answer is: "0 in use, 0 most in use".
Clear xlate command doesn't solve the situation.
Pix version: 6.3

Best regards.

Ip range is 10.0.1.1 - 10.0.1.20
After problem, this morning, I replace PIX with another but after some hours the problem is the same.
Perhaps is network switch port problem...
Now I will change the switch port for PIX.

Tks all.
