How do I change the ip rang on a pix 501??

I want to change the range from 192.168.1.xxx to 192.168.2.xxx

I just want to know if there are any non-obvious problems I should be aware of.

if you are planing on changing the hole inturnal LAN IP sceam, thats about the only major thing

make sure you update all staticly assigned hosts (printers, Servers, etc..) on the LAN with the proper TCP/IP configuration

the pix will make you change the inside interface befor you can update the dhcp range (it has to match the inside interface ip/subnet)

my advice is to do it consoled in to the pix
at the same time be sure to allow your self access via telnet or http so you will need to update those commands
unless you have:
http 0 0 inside
telnet 0 0 inside
*this will alow any inside host on any network access the pix via telnet/http

after you do the change clear the arp in the pix so that is will start building the table with the new range
