My question is probably a simple answer for someone. The remote PIX 501 dops the VPN tunnel when there is no traffic. Can i get that connection to stay alive?

Part 2 - can I deny the local internet connection access for the users in the remote site and point them all through my VPN tunnel?

Thanks.

OK, so i am learning that the tunnel dropping is normal when there is no interesting traffic. However I am still having some issue with the DNS resolution through the PIX and DSL modem.
I can ping by IP, but not by name, hence something is getting screened out by the DSL modem. I am thinking that I need some NAT'ing here.
