Pix 501 Config Question

On the Pix 501 is there any way to Configure the individual ports or is it just limited to Inside|Outside Configuration? Is it better to have static or dynamic IP's on the inside? Or let that be taken care of by the routers & switches?

I just got a PIX 501 in. You can only configure ports 0 & 1 (outside and inside). On the inside I configure the IP address so I know what it is. On the outside if DHCP is available I will use it, but some places I don't have DHCP available so I will use a static. I have played with it each way and the PIX doesn't mind.
FYI - I have our PIX 501 connecting to a Cisco 3002 concentrator forming a VPN tunnel. Very slick, low cost solution.
