Pix 501 and Looping

My friend just put his Pix 501 into a loop. I have done a search and couldn't find any info regarding this problem. I'm only the messenger so don't shoot me if this has been asked before. He put 127.0.0.1 for the attack server in the config. Now the PIX is in a loop. It works but he can't get into it to do any further config. How can he get out of the loop? Is there a hardware reset or does he have to contact Cisco. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
