I'm new here (and to PIX) so please excuse what may be a daft question. I have a PIX 515 running firmware 5.3 which I have managed to configure for everything we use EXCEPT I cannot get the remote client VPN software to establish a connection.
To elaborate a little, the PIX is set to allow SMTP for Exchange with static NAT, the HTTP stuff works OK and all seemed well. I configured it using one of CISCO's examples in the documentation but the VPN stuff does not work. I need my remote users to be able to vpn in from the internet and preferably using a local (in the PIX) user account list. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions please.
