Hi

Im looking at the possiblilities of load balancing using the following setup:

1 x 515 PIX firewall
1 x 2620XM Router
2 x ADSL lines (different ISPs)

Im looking to connect the ADSL Routers to the 2620 Router with the firewall between the 2620 and the inside LAN using either load balancing between the two lines or perhaps use one line for VPN Tunneling to remote sites and the other for Internet and web services.

At present the firewall has multiple VPN tunnels to other PIXs over the internet and also an interface for a third party network (nonat used). All of these terminations still need access to the inside LAN although the device which terminates the VPN (Be it Router or Firewall) does not matter.

My questions are, with the above kit what are the different possible solutions I have available? Am I opening up a can of worms so to speak using ADSL for perhaps load balancing? Would it save processing on the firewall if I connected the third party network through the router? Basically what are my options???

Many Thanks in advance

Rob
