The PivotTable allows the user to select a drop down for each cell (column) from which they can check or uncheck items they want shown. How I can I programmatically know which items were checked or unchecked?

I had a tooth pulled yesterday while under sedation. Came home and started doing something with the PivotTable. Looking back at it today, I don't know what I was thinking or attempting to do yesterday when I posed the question.
