1 Rename sheet John
1 Export DB Steve
1 Financial info Jane
4 Graph it Brian
2 Analyze John
1 Pivottable Steve
2 Gather info Steve

Here is my sheet. I would like to create a pivot table as the following:

Priority Distinct Count
1 4
2 2
4 1

How do I do this?

Your help is greatly appreciated...

Hi,

What have you tried? BTW, all you'll get is a Count of... Not a Distinct count, which in this case is a distinction without a difference.

-Highlighted Priority column and related data
-Selected Insert PivotTable
-From PivotTable Field List, selected Priority
-Dragged selected Priority from the Field List and dropped in the Values section
-used Count of Priority
