I have a PivotTable based on a Data sheet that contains dates. I have tried formating those dates everyway possible and I can't get the month to appear as mmmm when I group the individual dates into months on the PT. I have tried formating the cell in the PT and that doesn't work either. It just stays as mmm, I want the full month name.

Any ideas?

Hi,

That's never been an issue for me, but if it were, I'd simply use a lookup table and display the months ABOVE the PT, hiding the rows with the offending abbfreviations.

For instance, I like to put my PT totals at the TOP of the sheet. I just use a MAX(D5:D65536) formula across.
