When selecting data for analysis, Excel complains of being out of memory.
I know this to be a red herring as I have 196MB Ram in my machine.
When I consulted the office help it said I should try and optimise my memory. Therein lies my problem. I have installed all the Excel components to my computer and when I try to optimise my memory the option to do so is greyed out. What do I have to do to enable this option.
Is there a maximum amount of records I can select as I am selecting 4000 records in seven fields?

HOw's your virtual memory looking? Is it more than the installed RAM?

Also, how is your disk space looking?

Just a few things to look at as well.
